Can a lithium battery work for a jjrc c8812 rc car?

Will a lithium battery that hasn’t been used in years still work for jjrc c8812 rc car?

Packing things found two batteries, remembered to buy at least 8 years, and then there are at least 5, 6 years put there have not been used.

Plug in the control still works, tried for a while there is no low battery alarm, bb ringing test two pieces of power are currently 3.72 or so.

May I ask you guys, can you still charge and use the battery after buying it for such a long time, will there be a danger of explosion, if it doesn’t work, I’ll throw it away.

If you want to try charging it try charging it with 0.1a current, lithium can be activated with 3 normal charges and discharges.
